Roles and Responsibilities
- Professional Association Membership: Membership in a professional nursing association is mandatory for all students, which facilitates networking, career development, and exposure to industry standards.
- Educational Visits: As per curricular requirements, educational visits are organized to provide practical exposure and enhance students’ understanding of nursing practices.
- Festival and Event Celebrations: Students celebrate various cultural, state, national, and international events on campus, fostering inclusivity and community spirit.
- Scheduled Holidays: Students are granted prescribed holidays annually, balancing academic responsibilities and personal well-being.
- Parent-Teacher Association (PTA): PTA meetings are held once every three months, following each sessional exam, to discuss student progress and address any concerns from parents and faculty.
Scholarship Assistance
Students from reserved categories (SC/ST and Minority communities) can apply for scholarships through the District Adi Dravida Tribal Welfare Department and the District Backward Classes & Minority Welfare Department. The college assists in the application process, forwarding required information to relevant authorities upon student request. The same support applies for students seeking educational loans from nationalized banks.

The college has an active Student Nurses Association (SNA) with state and national membership, engaging students in professional development and leadership activities.
Functions of SNA
- Executive & General Body Meetings: Meetings are conducted once every three months, where the Principal, SNA Advisors, and SNA Office Bearers discuss upcoming events, address student concerns, and organize cultural programs.
- Cultural Events and Community Engagement: The SNA organizes and participates in various cultural events both within and outside the campus, celebrating important occasions and fostering a sense of community and teamwork.
