    4. Financial Extortion: Forceful monetary demands or expenses imposed on students.
    5. Physical Abuse: Assault, harm, or actions endangering a student’s health.
    6. Verbal and Electronic Abuse: Use of abusive language, emails, SMS, or public insults.
    7. Violation of Dignity: Actions infringing on the fundamental human dignity of a student.
    8. Confinement or Intimidation: Acts like wrongful confinement, intimidation, or criminal force.
    9. Conspiracy to Rag: Unlawful assembly or planning with the intent to engage in ragging.

Punishments for Those Found Guilty of Ragging

    1. Debarring from Examinations: Prohibited from appearing in sessional or university exams.
    2. Suspension from Classes: Temporary suspension from attending classes and college activities.
    3. Withdrawal of Scholarships: Forfeiture of any scholarships or academic benefits.
    4. Temporary Expulsion: Suspension from college for a minimum period of one month.
    5. Additional Disciplinary Actions: Further actions as deemed appropriate by the committee.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Committee
