Sree Mookambika College of Nursing is run under Padanilam welfare trust since 1997 with an aim to provide student focused, high quality of education and to be the leading model of excellence in education in order to provide comprehensive health care to public. Padanilam welfare trust is well reckoned for variety of Nursing Courses (GNM, B.Sc (N), P.B.B.Sc (N), M.Sc (N) & ANM) and Medical Courses (M.B.B.S,BDS), Thrayambika Vidya Mandir CBSE School. The trust was formed by Shri. K.V. Krishnan Nair, father of Dr. C.K. Velayudhan Nair, the Chairman of Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences. The college is located in Velayudhan Pillai Memorial Hospital complex, near to the market junction of Kulasekharam, Kanyakumari District. The college and hospital cover an area of 60 acres.
