Green Cover
Our lush green campus is home to over 2.5 lakh trees, creating a vibrant ecosystem that improves air quality, enhances biodiversity, and provides a refreshing environment for learning and healing.
Rainwater Harvesting
With a 2,000 KL rainwater harvesting capacity, we conserve precious water resources by collecting and storing rainwater, ensuring sustainable water management throughout the campus.
Sewage Treatment Plants
Our campus operates three modern Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) with a combined capacity of 600 KL per day. Treated water is reused for gardening and landscaping, significantly reducing freshwater consumption.
Solar Energy
Harnessing renewable energy, our campus is powered by a 260 kW rooftop solar power plant, reducing our carbon footprint while promoting clean and sustainable energy.
Solar Water Heating
Our 50 KL solar water heating system provides an energy-efficient and eco-friendly solution for hot water requirements across the campus.
Energy-Efficient Campus
LED lighting, motion sensor systems, BLDC ceiling fans, solar-powered street lighting, electric buggies for campus mobility, and inverter-based air conditioning across every facility.

Fire Safety Benchmark
SMIMS Hi-Tech Fire Tender
Sree Mookambika Institutions have established a new benchmark in campus safety by operating a dedicated Hi-Tech Fire Tender — making us one of the few healthcare institutions in South India with such an advanced in-house emergency response system.
The fire tender is equipped with Class A, B and C fire suppression systems and CO₂-based extinguishing mechanisms. It ensures rapid response within the campus and supports nearby residential and industrial areas during emergencies.
With independent operational capability, integrated medical support readiness and specialized equipment, the system is uniquely suited for healthcare environments where electrical, chemical, and high-risk fire hazards may occur — reinforcing our role as a healthcare institution committed to both healing and protecting the community.
