Driven by this philosophy, SMIMS has established a dedicated Hi-Tech Fire Tender, making it among the few medical colleges in India, as of 2025, to operate an in-house emergency fire response system. This pioneering initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to creating one of the safest healthcare campuses in the country while extending emergency support to the surrounding community whenever required.

The Hi-Tech Fire Tender is equipped with advanced Class A, B & C fire suppression systems, CO₂-based extinguishing technology, and specialised rescue equipment, enabling rapid response to electrical, chemical, structural, and other high-risk fire emergencies. Operated by trained personnel, it functions independently while complementing the regional fire and rescue services, ensuring immediate action during critical situations.
