Overview

The ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Department focuses on diagnosing and treating a wide range of disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat, and related structures in the head and neck for both adults and children. The department provides specialized care for ear-related conditions such as hearing loss, vertigo, tinnitus, and ear infections. It also manages nasal disorders including rhinitis, nasal bleeding, allergies, sinusitis, polyps, smell disorders, and snoring. For throat-related problems, the department treats sore throat, changes in voice, breathing difficulties, swallowing disorders, and sleep apnea. In addition, it plays a vital role in diagnosing and treating head and neck cancers, ensuring comprehensive care for patients across all age groups.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The ENT Dept is equipped with specialised infrasructure to offer comprehensive care for conditions affecting the ear nose and throat and head and neck.

Key components include:

1.Outpatient Consultation Rooms,

2.Rooms for special clinics

3.Nasal endoscopy,  Videolaryngoscopy and fibreoptic laryngoscopy

4.Well equipped soundproof room with Pure tone  audiometry, Impedence Audiometer,            

5.OAE and BERA.

6.Speech therapy.

7.Temporal Bone Lab

8.Surgical Units: A minor operation theatre attached to the out patient section,.

9.A full-fledged, state-of-the-art major operation theatre
