The Blood Bank is a vital component of hospital transfusion services, functioning round the clock to ensure the availability of safe, high-quality blood and blood components for patient care. It plays a crucial role in emergency services, surgeries, obstetric care, oncology, trauma management, and chronic transfusion-dependent conditions. The blood bank functions in accordance with national regulatory guidelines and follows strict quality and safety protocols to ensure patient safety.
