Our Microbiology Department plays a major role in medical education and in the diagnostic part of health care of patients and the community.

Professor & HOD

The Microbiology Department is situated on the first floor of the Medical College.

As per NMC norms, the department is provided with separate Staff Rooms for Professor & HOD, other Professors, Assistant Professors, Tutors, and has dedicated spaces for Office, Library, Lecture Hall, Practical Lab, Demo Hall, Museum, Stores, and PG Research Lab with adequate audio-visual equipment and laboratory equipment.

In addition, a Central Research Lab with all necessary equipment is attached to the College building.

Our Central Laboratory is equipped with latest diagnostic equipment to provide valuable reports at the earliest possible time, with 24 Ă— 7 service.

Hospital Infection Control

Through the Hospital Infection Control Committee, we conduct periodical training and surveillance to control hospital infection.
