The Department of Psychiatry is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure to provide comprehensive mental health services and academic training.
- Outpatient and Inpatient Services: Dedicated OPD clinics for general psychiatry, child & adolescent psychiatry, de-addiction, geriatric psychiatry, and psychotherapy.
- 30 bedded in-patient facility available
- 24/7 Emergency Psychiatric Care: Timely intervention for acute psychiatric emergencies.
- Psychiatric Ward: Secure and supportive inpatient facility with well-trained nursing and support staff.
- Psychological Testing & Assessment: Full range of psychometric evaluations and diagnostic tools.
- De-addiction & Rehabilitation Services: Structured detoxification and long-term rehabilitation programs with provision of separate deaddiction ward.
- Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT): Modified ECT suites for treatment-resistant psychiatric conditions. Administered safely and effectively under supervision for selected psychiatric disorders.
- Biofeedback therapy : for conditions such as: anxiety and stress related disorders
- Counseling and Psychotherapy Units: Individual, group, and family therapy sessions led by trained clinical psychologists.
